Operating Principle
  • Gas enters through inlet, passes through ball mechanism to the outlet side.Because of “O” ring seals used on the floating ball, sealing attains 100% shut off.The operation can be only achieved through allen key or operating with spanner.

Leakage The NVT series devices are not meant for bubble tight shut off, but ensure that close Flame path to prevent escape of fire. At test pressure of 4 bar on air, leakage is less than 30 ltr/hour.

Application Thermal equipment trips are used i gas installation, upstream of gas inlet lines, to protect equipments down side in event of a fire. The device isolates gas pipe line and provide long term protection against uncontrolled escape of gas and explosion. This unique thermal tripping shut off for valves comply with the requirement of German Fire System Ordinance and can be used in compliance with TRGI 86/90.
