What is a Pneumatic Actuator?
A pneumatic actuator is a mechanical device that converts compressed air energy into rotary or linear mechanical motion to operate an industrial valve. How Does a Pneumatic Actuator Work?

1. RACK & PINION PNEUMATIC ACTUATOR
The most common type for quarter-turn valve automation. Two opposed pistons drive a rack gear that rotates a central pinion shaft by 90°. Delivers uniform torque throughout the stroke. Compact, lightweight, cost-effective.

2. SCOTCH YOKE PNEUMATIC ACTUATOR

– Fail-open (spring opens the valve) or fail-closed (spring closes the valve)

4. DOUBLE ACTING PNEUMATIC ACTUATOR
