Full Bore Electromagnetic Flow Meter

Full Bore Electromagnetic Flow Meter

Accurate Flow Measurement for Conductive Liquids with Minimal Pressure Loss

The Full Bore Electromagnetic Flow Meter is designed for accurate and reliable measurement of conductive liquids across a wide range of industrial applications. The flow meter works on Faraday’s law of electromagnetic induction and provides true volumetric flow measurement.

The measurement is largely independent of the liquid’s density, viscosity, pressure and temperature. The meter can also handle liquids containing solid impurities when the required minimum conductivity is available.

The standard model can measure liquids with conductivity above 5 µS/cm. A special version is available for applications where liquid conductivity can be as low as 2 µS/cm.

CBT Flow Solutions Pvt. Ltd. supplies flow measurement solutions and supports customers with product selection, technical assistance and industrial flow measurement requirements across India.

Features

  • The use of pulsed DC magnetization & auto-zero technique offers excellent long-term zero stability.
  • Measurement is independent of the velocity profile across the diameter of the pipeline.
  • Measurement results are independent of density, viscosity, pressure, temperature, solid – impurities & conductivity variations [above 5 µs / cm].
  • No additional pressure drop across the meter relieves the process designer while sizing his pumping requirements. Simple to install as no special precautions of straight pipe lengths are required.
  • Compatible with virtually all corrosive / non-corrosive liquids.
  • The Protection class offered IP 68 for the flow sensor, IP 67 for a transmitter.
  • Reasonably higher ratio of Return on Investment to Investment.
